1-29-13 An Eventful Weekend at UCI
What a crazy weekend. From a 4.5 hour bus/train ride, to seeing old friends, to making new ones; this has certainly become a weekend to remember.
I’m a person that lives for moments of sentimental value, and this weekend really dug into that. I was able to hang out with my closest friends, Raymond and Andrew, as well as meet up with high school friends like Maggie, Lynn, Trini, and Amanda.
Despite being at different universities, Andrew, Raymond and I try to throw in time for each other even though we now live different lives. It’s amazing what some people are willing to do for friendship, and I appreciate them both deeply.
I didn’t get to take that many pictures but the main picture includes someone that I was able to become good friends with this weekend. Isn’t it crazy that she’s all the way from Stockton, CA? I just love meeting people that aren’t from around the area because I want to show them just how amazing Southern California is.
Anyways, I hope to be able to come back to Sierra at UCI sometime before the year ends.
Regards,
Joseph
1-27-13 Ted x UCI
This weekend, I had the opportunity to head down to the University of California, Irvine to shoot the TEDxUCI team. I would’ve never have had the opportunity to do this if it wasn’t for my good friend, Raymond.
1-21-13 Vietnamese Culture Night: Traditional
These are some of the most amazing people I know at UCLA, people that I consider to be great friends. Thanks for an amazing fall + partial winter quarter.

You don’t always need a fancy camera to get the quality that these photos have.
12-31-12 Disneyland with the amigos
You know, for going on New Years Eve, it wasn’t that bad, except for the traffic at Night. We were able to go on all the good rides and a few fun rides (listed below).
The amazing part of the day must’ve happened when we were in line for Space Mountain at 10:20pm. The wait said it would take 90 minutes, but we usually assume it’s more because that’s just how Disneyland is. Surprisingly, it was only 80 minutes and we were able to make it for the New Years Eve fireworks. We even ended up having a good spot near the castle without waiting around for it. It was a New Years miracle.
This is probably one of the best ways to spend New Years Eve. I’d recommend doing this one year with a few friends because the park is still decorated with Christmas decorations, and some of the rides are changed to be Holiday themed. On top of that, Disneyland’s fireworks show are always amazing. If you end up going, make sure to go early!
Happy New Years everyone!
Rides:
The Holiday Parade, the Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Peter Pan, Carousel, Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, Fantasmic (kinda, but we got bad seats), Gadget’s Go Coaster, & Small World.
